That was until page 15 where her sweetness, started getting on my damn nerves. So, I'm reading the beginning of the book #TeamIris. Cute right? That's yet to be determined by my husband, but I thought it was cute. Nicholas needs a kidney, so Iris offered hers. – Iris, or heroine, was looking to become a living for about six months before she meets Nicholas's mother in a local hospital. The main idea around this book is good, interesting, and attention grabbing. Don't forget a drink because this might take some time. I going to tell you why I didn't like this book. Will Nick be able to let go of his past and let Iris in? And will Iris be able to show him what it truly means to have a pure heart? The more time Nick spends with Iris, the more he starts to believe in what he always thought was impossible: a pure heart.īut betrayal leaves a bitter mark. Pure Hearts by Jeannine Allison is the first book I've read from this author and I'm kind of regretting it. I rolled my head so many times, I thought they were going to get stuck back there 🙄 I almost stopped reading this book 26,981 times but I forced my way through it. I ask for forgiveness now from Jeannie Allison before I get started. But, I wouldn't be doing myself any favors by lying and/or sugar-coating my true feelings about a book. This is the part about blogging I hate – giving a not so pleasant review of a book where I love the author.
